Condolence to the Old Demobilized Soldiers Military-supporting Enterprise Shows Love

Recall the eventful years, remain true to our original aspiration. On August 2, the Veterans Affairs Bureau of Changge City joined hands with Henan Zhuoyu Garaden Bee Products Co., Ltd. to carry out the activities of condoling veterans, and pay high respect and greetings to the local demobilized soldiers who joined the army before liberation or participated in the war to fight US aggression and aid Korea. Lv Yiwei, deputy director of the Veterans Affairs Bureau of Changge City, Hou Xiaoli, secretary of the Service Center of the Veterans Affairs Bureau, Li Xiaoya, deputy mayor of Fuer Lake Town, Guo Mingchao, head of the town's Veterans Service Station, Zhang Maicheng, president of the Changge Military Promotion Association, and Shang Jianguo, chairman of Henan Zhuoyu Garaden Bee Products Co., Ltd. went to visit and condole, to show sincerely thanks to these veterans who have made great contributions to the liberation of New China and the protection of our peaceful homeland.

A line of people successively went to the homes of the demobilized soldiers of Furhu Town, including Zhao Xuezhi in Dameng Village, Jia Shengkun in Xiaji Village, Yang Baocheng in Chenguanzhuang Village, Liu Hesheng in Liuzhuang Village, etc. They sent sincere blessings to the old comrades, talked with them cordially, listened carefully to their unforgettable experiences during the period of revolutionary war, and recalled the revolutionary years of hard struggle with them. They were also asked in detail about their living conditions, physical states and practical needs and told to take good care of their health, maintain a good attitude, and timely reflect the difficulties encountered in life.

As the former revolutionary heroes, when they retired back to work and live, they have always maintained a fine military style, always maintain the love to the Party and our country. Veteran Jia Shengkun of Volunteers 42 said, as a veteran who participated in the the war to fight US aggression and aid Korea, he feels very glorious and proud. Once they put on military uniform and went abroad, willing to sacrifice their lives to protect our country; now they are getting old, we still have not forgotten that, which let them feel the profound care and warmth. They will cherish the honor, and carry forward the glorious tradition of revolutionary soldiers in the rest of their time, as to make the spirit of Fighting US Aggression and Aiding Korea alive well and to pass it on from generation to generation!

This time, we go into the community and hold the activity of ‘Salute to the most lovely people’ to call on everyone to pay tribute to the heroes around us. In the past, our understanding of veterans was confined to textbooks, but now we can see them face to face. We hope our enterprise can make a little contribution to them and wish them good health, pleasant mental; and we hope that by doing so, we can drive more social forces to join in our social welfare undertakings and add bricks and mortar to the construction of a better society!”
